Household & Commercial Bin Cleaning - Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“ICCS” refers to ICCS Wheelie Bin Cleaning, a professional wheelie bin cleaning company with a principal office located at Cortial, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co. Louth, or any of its affiliated entities.
“Customer”, “You”, or “Your” refers to the individual or entity who agrees to these Terms and Conditions, avails of the Services, or completes the Customer Application Form, including anyone nominated to act on their behalf.
“Customer Application Form” refers to the registration form completed by the Customer for the Services, including any information or consent provided in writing, by phone, or online.
“Data Protection Legislation” means the Data Protection Act 1988 and the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003, including any updates or amendments.
“Services” refers to all services provided by ICCS Wheelie Bin Cleaning, including residential and commercial bin cleaning, and any related service.
“Wheelie Bin Cleaning Service” means the periodic cleaning of bins carried out by ICCS.
“Bin(s)” refers to any wheelie bin issued to the Customer by a licensed waste collector and serviced by ICCS.
2. Agreement
These Terms form a legally binding contract between ICCS Wheelie Bin Cleaning and the Customer. By using our services, the Customer accepts all conditions outlined herein. No changes to these Terms are valid unless explicitly agreed to in writing by ICCS.
3. Billing & Payment
3.1 Pricing is based on ICCS’s rates at the time of sign-up or as communicated thereafter.
3.2 Pricing may be updated periodically. ICCS will notify domestic customers of any price changes at least 14 days in advance via email or post.
3.3 ICCS reserves the right to amend billing methods and frequencies with prior notice. A fee of up to €2 annually may apply for paper billing to encourage digital invoicing.
3.4 Services may be paused if payment is overdue by 30 days. Any related recovery costs may be passed on to the Customer.
3.5 For recurring payments, the Customer must ensure the nominated debit account accepts such transactions. Any changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing. Twelve-month minimum terms apply to monthly payment plans. Early termination may result in full-year charges.
3.6 Communications are deemed delivered 2 days after postal dispatch or on the same day if sent via email.
3.7 If using a non-recurring payment method, the Customer is responsible for timely payment to maintain uninterrupted service.
3.8 Changes to billing plans must be requested by phone or in writing. It is the Customer’s duty to confirm receipt by ICCS.
3.9 Our vehicles use Bin Identification Technology to track eligible bins. Payments must be received at least 3 business days in advance to avoid service interruptions.
3.10 ICCS is not liable if your bin is relocated without timely notice.
3.11 ICCS will use SMS and email to provide account updates, service reminders, and billing notices where feasible.
4. Service Terms
4.1 This agreement is specific to the named Customer and may not be transferred without ICCS’s written consent. Presenting your bin for cleaning implies acceptance of these Terms.
4.2 A 12-month minimum term applies from the first billing or commencement date. The agreement renews annually unless otherwise terminated.
4.3 ICCS may suspend or adjust service without notice due to safety, legal, or operational requirements.
4.4 Only bins placed kerbside will be cleaned.
4.5 Bins must be placed at the kerb the night before the scheduled cleaning or immediately after waste collection if cleaning occurs on the same day.
4.6 Missed bins due to late presentation will be cleaned on the next scheduled date.
4.7 Before your cleaning day, gently loosen the ICCS liner so that waste contents fall into the waste collection lorry.
4.8 Bins must be empty. ICCS is not a licensed waste collector and cannot remove rubbish.
4.9 If a scheduled clean is missed, ICCS will reschedule at the earliest opportunity. No compensation is owed.
4.10 All bins remain property of your waste collector. ICCS may place identification or promotional stickers on bins.
4.11 If your account is paused, payment must be made at least 3 business days in advance for service to resume.
4.12 ICCS is not responsible for third-party actions that affect your service or bin.
4.13 A fair usage policy applies. If services appear to be shared across households or used for commercial purposes without disclosure, ICCS reserves the right to suspend or adjust fees accordingly.
4.14 ICCS will make all reasonable efforts to inform Customers of any changes to these Terms via email, website updates, and printed copies upon request. Notice is considered served once sent to your listed contact details.
5. Termination
5.1 The Customer may terminate the contract at the end of the term. Early termination without cause incurs liability for the remainder of the 12-month term. No refunds will be issued for prepaid services unless outlined in clause 5.5.
5.2 Without 30 days’ written notice before the term expires, the contract will automatically renew for another 12 months.
5.3 Only the Customer may request changes or termination.
5.4 Services will not be fully terminated until all outstanding payments are received.
5.5 Refunds are only processed upon receipt of written termination. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of cancellation notice.
5.6 Early termination fees apply to cover any financial losses ICCS incurs.
6. Data Protection
ICCS collects and processes personal data in line with applicable Data Protection Legislation and solely for purposes related to service delivery. We will maintain compliance with all data protection requirements in the handling of your information.
7. Severability
If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable under the law, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising under them are governed by Irish law. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
